I think the first step would be to make a better ford ranger. The interior looks nice though.

Well, I like that. It is pretty simple but nice. I especially like the triple gauge pod on top of the ceter stack, even with the Ford green that I usually dislike.

Like new from the ground up? LOL, I thought the Ranger would be around for another 20 years until a redesign.

No. I am pretty sure they got the Thai built Ranger that is completely different from the Ranger in the US.

Just looked at their site and it is for sure the Thai Ranger not the US one.

Isn't there supposed to be a fair trade agreement being considered with Thailand that would make the truck tarrifs go away, which means we could get that Ranger assembled there and sold here?

I guess. I'm not sure if the Chassis is 100% new, but the rest of it is.

There will be a newer small Ford truck replacing the Ranger. Thing is it will be imported.

Give it about 2 years.

Ford needs to either stop selling the ranger or replace it with a new model. Why are they giving away a segment they once owned to Toyota? Poor entry level products bring down the whole brand.
