The question is whether Hennessey will sell all the stock parts off your car in the process of doing the conversion and pocket the money.

 

That's not so much a question as it is a certainty.

 

I like to eventually have my cars back...and in working condition...so even if I could afford it, I would pass

 

I know when anything Hennessey is posted there is a lot of hate. I personally hate the guy too. I too have read the stories and even seen Hennessey's posts on an SRT-8 LX board. The guy is a grade A a$$hole.

With all that, I am going to ask, HOW CAN HE STILL BE IN BUSINESS?

I can't believe John H hasn't been murdered yet, much less that he's still in business. Whatever happened to the power of the internet keeping dishonest vendors out of business? He not only screwed people out of a whole ton of money, but he did it with the most ridiculous sense of entitlement and lack of morality possible. Grade A con man.

What ever happened between him and some of his 'customers'? Undisclosed settlements? Fist fights?

 

I fixed that for you. Customer implies a mutually beneficial transaction took place.

Well, in fairness I wrote 'customers'... meaning I was using the term in a non traditional sense.

 

That's the thing, his original business was named Hennessey Motorsports (HMS) and the current one is Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE, which seems like a rip off of HorsePower Engineering if you ask me...) Seems fishy?
