NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, All you have to do is sell it to a Disgruntled Ex-Nissan Owner. They'll buy anything.

Yes, that would be great. It would be even better if you could avoid the "delivery charge" by picking up your new car at the factory. Like that will ever happen. Chevy charges Covette buyers hundred of dollar extra for bothering to pick up their cars at the Bowling Green, KT factory. What a ripoff!

BMW gives you a huge discount for opting for a "European Delivery." Enough to pay for the trans-Atlantic flight and most of a European vacation!

Actually, what does almost every other car company do? Will Toyota let you pick up your car at the factory? Seriously... Someone must be having a bad day...

I was responding to a post that suggested that GM should utilize the Spring Hill, Tennesse factory for the next Camaro. The poster seemed to want to give F-body owners the same sort of delivery-at-the-factory experience as Covettte owners.

I just took the opportunity to point out that the Bowling Green, KT experience is a lame and expensive let down.

In contrast, BMW's "European Delivery" is a huge selling point. I like the idea of a trip to Europe, a huge discount and first class treatment all the way.

BMW know how to treat its customers. GM doesn't have a clue. I thought that was a very important point to make.

Of course, everyone on this board know that I opted against buying a BMW in favor of the world's biggest Japanese SUV.

So you obviously bought a Corvette recently to know that the experience is lame right?

So.... exactly how many RPO R8C Nation Corvette Museum deliveries have you taken on new Corvette's you have purchased?

Furthermore.... how many BMW's have to taken delivery of in Europe?

Who thinks redzed has never even seen the Corvette plant?

I have seen it and the museum. BTW in some tours they actually let one of the tourists start one of the vettes, really neat.

No doubt he has not, as any red blooded American has to get chills down his back the first time he walks through the Museum and the plant. And on top of that he can't even abbreviate Kentucky right. What is KT? Kentucticut?

I didn't see the " Build RWD Sigma-Lite" architecture cars at the new plant as an option. So, I am officially nominating the plant for this use!

It seems as though Spring Hill will get Theta and Epsilon cars. RWD will be further north.
