Automobile survey?

I got an invite from a company call Gongos in the mail yesterday inviting me to look at some vehicles in a couple of weeks to get my opinions. (I can't remember the exact wording and I don't have the letter in front of me right now.) So I signed up but I haven't gotten a timeslot assigned to me yet. Anyone else get one of these? The reason I ask is that it appears to have been sent to me because I own a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. (Z28 to be exact, but that wasn't in the address line.)

Very interesting...

Danno went to a GONGOS survey a year ago or more... he saw some interesting stuff!

Seems as if you're part of a focus group. Let us know!

Probalby not gonna let him do that. It would be nice though if you could bring in a cellphone with a camera or something without them knowing and snap a few pictures.

Re: Automobile survey?

If you bring a camera you may risk being booted out, or even sued if they ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement before you see the vehicle...

Just look at all the details, try to remember as much as you can, and scetch it out... that's what Danno did... he did a great job.

Re: Automobile survey?

Just take a photographic memory and draw some pictures as soon as you leave the event.

Any chance of you giving your invitation to KrisH?

Here's hoping you have a photographic memory...

Re: Automobile survey?

I would like to add that this may not be about Camaro. Hyundai is developing a RWD Tiburoun so it could be for that, the reskinned mustang, or anything. Lets not get ourselves worked up, unless Red says he will be in that area around the same time but can't meat anyone.

Re: Automobile survey?

SCOTT GO!!

This may be the clinic for the "heritage" re-style we have heard about. Rumor has it that the car I saw scored off the charts. Logic would dictate that changes to that design would be subject to another focus group (just to make sure the changes didn't affect it negatively).

There might be something to this given that it is the same company that did the styling clinic I went to. Even if it is not for a future Camaro, you'll get to see some cool future product.

Don't forget your car registration and a pre-mesured shoe-lace to get some accurate dimensions .
Oh yeah, they won't allow you in with cell phones/PDAs/etc.
