Autoline After Hours- Worthwhile viewing

I'm a regular listener to Autoline After Hours, as I'm sure many here are.

Here's a link to a very good one as it touches a lot on vehicle design. Also some discussion of how regulations play into design and mass.

If you don't usually check the show out, there are hours of interesting ideas and commentary in the archives.

Enjoy:

Interesting show -- thanks for the pointer. Ever increasing regulations make me doubt that a massive industry-wide weight reduction is just around the corner. New technology and lightweight materials will be needed just to hold the line.

BTW, did anyone notice that the new BMW 5 adds a couple of hundred pounds to the current one? Yet the new one is just average for it's class.
