If my memory does not fail me, I'll try to post what I've got in an excel spreadsheet.

By the way...for those of you in San Diego......I was working on the floorplan today ......and we're sending some 'chevy historic' vehicles for your enjoyment. (think "pace cars") Also a couple of our SEMA Xtreme vehicles.......Opens over new years........

Red,
Any chance Chevy will show the Tandem concept again in the near future? I think many people would be blown away by this car-especially with its jet fighter like seating. Gotta like those mid-engine's. A car like this could be another kappa canidate, with a little work on the subframes. Plus the chassis will already be designed to utilize a rear mounted tranny (Solstice).

Also according to the Chicago Tribune, GM planned on showing a low cost coupe with 60's stingray styling at the 2002 Chicago auto show, but didnt since the car wasnt running. Will this car ever make the show circuit?

well...in most shows, space is at a premium...and we try to feature the "latest and greatest" and feature the entire Chevrolet Product Line (which continues to grow......)

Because the Tandem is a showcar from the 80s, I haven't considered it. On the other hand, it might make an interesting addition to the Fbody Invasion at the NCM in Bowling Green in September..............

That would indeed be a good place to show it in light of the fact this concept borrowed parts from the Camaro, Corvette and many from the Fiero. Here is a link to a picture of the Tandem: http://www.conceptcarz.com/folder/ve...vehicleTypeID=

Here is a link to the GM press release for 1999 Sema show in Las Vegas-the first time this car was shown to the public: www.media.gm.com/chevy/99news/c991103k.htm

Thanks for the clarification Red. In the 3rd paragraph of the press release they have the wrong info listed. Weight distribution (F/R)of the car is also reversed on the release.
