I like this TT a lot more than I liked the first ones that came out. Those were ugly cars.

340 hp out of a 2.5L is very impressive. Not my cup of tea but not a bad car at all.

I'd buy a used one as a daily driver.

I can't ever stop thinking that TT stands for "turbo ****"

I like the new one a lot, although I'm surprised/confused as I thought we were getting the TTRS here with a 2.0L direct inject turbo 4-cylinder with 270hp.

340hp out of a 2.5 inline 5 is definitely impressive. In fact, that pretty much walks all over previous-gen Audi S4's with the 4.2L V8 that had 240hp and only 302 ft/lbs of torque.

4.2L S4's made 340hp, not 240.

that is 136hp/L
The LNF is at 130hp/L. With a small, warranty-friendly upgrade that goes up to almost 150hp/L or more impressively, 170ft-lbs/L

Typo. I should be the first to have caught since we owned an '06 S4.

...And the current 2.0T from Audi can put out 265hp (stock, before power adders) which is 132hp/L. Whatcha going to do now?

Before I settled on my 335i, I drove the current generation Audi TT w/ the 200hp 2.0t and DSG transmission and it was an absolute blast to drive in every respect.

The only reason I didn't end up going with it is I felt it was too much $$ for the amount of car I was getting... very similar to Porsche pricing, really.
