265hp 295tq 2.0 turbo 4cyl. Looks like its the engine out of the Regal GS. The Verano should be pretty exciting once it also gets that motor.

Well if the Verano is well received, what's stopping GM from bringing this over as a Buick?

Same reason they didnt bring over the real Regal GS..performance wise Buick got its butt handed to it by a Volvo..

Re: Astra VXR Revealed

Autoblog says it is 280HP.

I think what GM really needs to build is a Cruze sized Chevy coupe. Not a hatch back, a real 2 door early 90's Z24 style coupe. Turbo 1.4L, 2.5L and turbo 2.0L engines as options, all with 6 speed manuals available.

Sky/Soltice are pretty nice, though I guess they are more roadsters than sports compacts.
