I have always liked the way modern Aston Martins have looked. They just seemed underpowered and way to much money, even in the class of cars they are competeing with. I was looking thru my May 2003 issue of Road & Track when I saw the soon to be new Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage. It is one of the best looking coupes I have ever seen. Its just stunning. I cant find a pic of it on the web. If anyone can find one and post it I think you guys will agree. It will be cheap at 100k well for a Aston it will be cheap.

Aston Martins underpowered?

The 2000 DB7 Vantage had 420hp.
The 2003 Db7 GT ( ) has 435hp.
The V8 models had upwards of 450hp, including a Lemans version with 600hp.


I will give you that Vantage concept is rather sexy!

I think the AMV8 is pretty nice. As far a Aston Martins go, the Vanquish takes the cake for looks. That could quite possibly be the best looking car on the market right now. I believe Ian Cullum designed the Vanquish, but the AMV8 was penned by the same guy that did the BMW Z8.
