News I heard was that if the SS were to go into production it would be as Chevelle (that would explain the 4 doors). Other rumors going around is that it would hit the autoshow circuit as Chevelle and GM would rebadge it as Camaro once the Camaro gag order expired.

Not with the 4 doors, but I do see some Camaro in those sketches. The front end makes me think of the second Gens split nose somewhat. I think this car could be played with styling wise to be a next Camaro. Its a start anyway.

When does the gag order on Camaro end?Is it on 05 when the CAW contract to produce the F-body would have expired?
I can see Camaro in the SS concept.....Especially as a coupe.

I sure do hate the CAW. This isn’t GMs fault completely, I blame Canada
. Who needs Moosehead and Ice Hockey anyways
. I'd put the blame solidly on GM, why in God's green earth would they agree to such a stupid term in the contract. We can only hope that the SS makes it into pre-production ASAP so that once the order is lifted it can be quickly put into production (ohh and look at those beautiful 1970esque tail lights, i don't know about the front fenders though too retro).
