Anyone got the REAL specs on the hemi-ram?
It is rated at 345 horsepower and 375 lb/ft of torque. Those numbers are pretty decent, but considering all the engineering that went into it (it needs 2 plugs per cylinder????).....
Betcha PacerX would have a comment or two about the new Hemi.

Yeah, I would like to know too. From what I have seen, the numbers put down by trucks are pretty poor in comparison to thier rating. I guess this has to do with a lot of drivetrain loss.

Weight and size have absolutally nothing to do with rwhp and tq. They do have something to do with performance, however.
From what I have seen on dynos so far, it is looking like the drivetrain loss on them is about 30%............. either that, or DCX was using "new math" on the rating of them.

No real information on the Hemi yet...
BUT, it only comes in an iron block, so I'd have to compare it to the 6.0 liter LS1 variant to get anything close to real.
Given the larger heads and the added complexity, it isn't going to be light. BUT - the heads should have the potential to out-flow the LS1 family.
