Erm...
Shall I go on?
Re: Any pics or info on the STS-V????
Per a given displacement, OHC can make more power....operative word being "can"
Per a given total engine weight and exterior size, OHV will almost always make more power.
Case in point is LS1 vs. 4.6L ford. Well, the LS1 is 1.1 liters bigger you say. Yes, but its smaller externally (narrower, not as tall), and nearly 200 lbs lighter plus its cheaper to build AND makes more power. So I ask, other than a marketing gimmick for buyers that think OHC is somehow techically superior, why would you want it?
LS7 would be sweet in the STS-v but this is all about going up against the new M5 and possible M5 buyers aren't going to care much for a 7.0L pushrod motor they perceive to be low-tech. Doesn't matter if the facts bear it out to be better or not. Marketing isn't always about reality.

Why is the CTSv going to get a significant upgrade in the near future, but the other V's will not? Who really knows.
Re: Any pics or info on the STS-V????
The STS V won't be available for a year or so, they are just now going through validation at GM, so we are about a year out from production i believe, and it will be over 400 hp, just not sure exactly how much.
Re: Any pics or info on the STS-V????
STS-V will show up in Jan at NAIAS.
Why not have the STS-V match the likes of the E55 or M5? They didnt have a problem jumping into the ring with the CTS-V. If they come to the table with less then 430hp, its a waste.

Which would put it at either a 06 or early 07 most likely, more likely an 06 i hope.
