I like the part where it says the UAW wanted to be able to smoke on the assembly line. Where are the pro-union guys to defend that one? At least this article points out how the UAW has been such a piece of **** over the years.

UAW took advantage of a bad company. No bailout, let them all lie in the bed they made for themselves.

Im torn. I m really uncomfortable with the Govt investing taking shares in a quasi Social situation or not taking shares in a subsadising even in GM.... On the other hand I think GM lost their way aside from the truck market and were finally are making the company right.

I dont care about the Unions I hope they collapse and sure dont want to fund them with tax dollars. I dont like proping up mis managed companies like I feel GM was through the 70s 80s 90s and early 2000s. GM has made me really proud lately. The 5th Gen Camaro is something I want in my driveway when I normally perfer Honda for economy or every day cars.

I think Id be ok with Loans pending a profitable plan based on todays economy. If that means $17k smart car like hybrids that get 50-60 MPG then thats what you have to do to get the loan.

Yeah right!! Sounds like a plan chavez would admire!! Give the gov't control of GM, what a ridiculous notion..!! They did such a good job on the economy!! I say **** AIG, FM/FM, etc.,.....but they helped them out big time, due to friends in high places, and yet nobody is questioning that deal in the press. Instead all they talk about is closing down the big 3. The press....lmao....what a F-ing joke! They have a clear agenda, IF you open your eyes, and it certainly isn't looking out for US!! NOT even close!!

Hate to quote myself but I just realize how unfair this part of my quote sounded. I only meant there be a plan toward profitability regaurdless of where that takes you. I didnt mean it to come out like that. I like what GM has done lately. If I can still manage a move into our Networking dept, Id like to go after a Blue SS.
