That is a rebadged HSV GTO. 390 odd HP, better brakes, wheels, suspension, body kit etc than the Monaro. Costs approx 35k pounds which is US$63,500.

You don't get it because you bitch to much about the GTO you get

There is probably a lot of truth to this.

The general reponse to the styling of the GTO could be holding back these types of variations being offered here.

There is more to HSV cars then simple ground effects..

You may want to look into it before handing out the "retard" statements...

The HSV Coupe 4 was just released today as well, with it basically being a Pontiac GTO (notice the fuel cap) but AWD. The price has dropped a little from the original estimates, and I love those wheels

Here is the press release:

The imminent release of HSV’s latest creation, the all-wheel drive Coupé 4, is set to further increase the company’s profile and popularity, particularly with its RRP of just $89,950 + ORC.

This once again highlights the strength of HSV in not only delivering this supremely talented coupe to market far below the expected price point but also in completing the mammoth development cycle in just nine months.

Typically, HSV has continued to push the boundaries in all areas of Coupé 4 specification. A perfect example can be found in the superb new 19-inch wheels (19 X 8-inch front and specific 19 X 9-inch rear with wider section P Zero tyres).

Specially designed for Coupé 4, they contribute to the low ride height stance and overall flowing Euro styling while also enhancing the awesome level of grip that characterises the cars amazing AWD driving experience.

Edit: fixed the pic. and added a new one.

Good, now use the Coupe4's front and rear fender flares on the GTO, along with the more agressive headlights and front end ontop of the LS2 and 6spd with dual side exhaust...

Dont get me wrong the GTO we have now is awsome but for the looks its just bland styling...I know 2005 will have better looks..its just that the look to make it look more Pontiac didnt do much..

Im telling you man anyone that starts shipping these kits here and selling them for the GTO will be making a killing!!!

The coupe 4 has only a little more power than the GTO and weighs far more. Would not work going on the current GTO experience.

As for the body kit it would cost BIG $$$ as Holden/HSV make the body changes very early on in the manufacturing process. Front and rear bars shouldn't be a problem, but the fender flares will.

The Coupe4's fender flares are part of the sheetmetal and are not tacked on. And I agree on not paying 64k for a GTO with AWD, especialy when the GTO is getting 400hp next year. But remember, we do pay less for a Monaro then the Aussies do. I belive a GTO in Oz is around 40k.
