A BIG reason alot of them sit , is case in point Jasons dad scenario . Too alot of effect me too . I dont care how cool the car is , its not a race car ....so if I cant have at least a sunroof I dont want it . The sunroof from the Monaro shoulda been apart of the deal to begin with . Before I bought my Cobalt SS , I had a deposit on a Silver GTO . But then remembered back to when I bought my 95 trans am coupe new in 95 as a hardtop , and how much I hated the solid roof . I wanted to sell it 6 months after I bought it . So instead of making the same mistake I backed out .

I couldn't even fathom buying a Cobalt over a GTO because of a sunroof. For the difference in price sure, but a sunroof? To each their own though.

I have a Camaro . The criteria for a daily driver was a fun car and I have a broad taste outside my F-bodies I dont regret the choice I made .

The GTO would be just as fun but also a much better made car. It is fine that you did what you did, but I just can't grasp it I guess.

I dont doubt that one bit , Ive driven several 04-06 GTO's and have a couple friends that own em . It is a incredible value . I would still detest not having a sunroof in my daily driver that I drive about 35K miles a year in . Guess we all have our hang ups Even my drag car has T-tops
