All-Star Game Intro
The game was introduced by Billy Bob Thornton speaking about baseball being celebrated in Motor City, etc. GM is a big sponsor of the game this year, so they dominate the intro. Several video clips are shown, mostly of the new Corvette, but also with a brief clip of a first gen Camaro with a soundbyte (looked like original model introduction). Anyways, I know the significance wasn't lost on anyone here if you saw it.

They even say very prominently "CAMARO!"
Pretty telling that they are showing a snippit from an intro commercial for a 1st Gen....
FWIW... Chevy sponsored the game, not GM as a whole. That intro segment was all Chevy... actually, from what I could tell, it ws all Corvette except for the Camaro bit and a little classic Bel Air stuff..... and one exception:
That exception being that I saw a dash cluster shot... with white face gagues that tunnel back rather deeply... I can't place what those are from...??? Especially sicne all they showed was Corvettes and the 1st Gen Camaro.
Now.................. they wouldn't go and toss us a quicky shot of the 5th Gen Camaro gauge cluster.................. would they????
(I know... I'm really reaching, but I can't place what Chevy that cluster was from. I'm even looking at all the gallary shots on chevy.com.)
EDIT: Just went though all of Chevy.com... don't see that gauge cluster anywhere (as I thought).... the closest thing I could find was SSR's gauge cluster.... but it's doesn't have white faced gauges... and they don't look "tunneled" enough!

Similar in looks... but it looked like it would be a 3-pod design... with equal sized cirular pods, and the center one raised above the outer two...
Vibe is somewhat close, but it was white-faced guages... and Vibe has that 4-pod setup with the two smaller pods on the right side....
Plus, it wouldn't make sense for a Vibe cluster to be shown in a Chevy commercial... unless you are getting at something else.
