You know where these things will end up?

SLEWS of them will be in trailer parks, pulled right up in front of the primered Camaros and Mustangs that are sitting on cinderblocks, with fenders off, and engines sitting under tarps waiting for the owner to save up enough beercash to have the block bored.
There's nothing like a new car in the gravel/mud driveway when you live in a trailer park full of 1972-vintage Oakwoods.

Seriously, that will be the biggest buying crowd for this car - I'll bet on it.
The next biggest market will be the student, needing a 4-year, cheapest cost, warranty-covered ride to get them through college.
Then the single-mom/waitress crowd.
Then the "new" immigrants that just got their papers and are proud to be an American - so proud they go jump straight into a new Geelyhondayota and drive to Pier1 Imports to buy crap to decorate their new flat that the government is paying for.

I'm sorry, but I have 0 interest in a car like this. Never will.
I advocate Ford and GM marketing their entry models to these crowds at similar pricing. If they can't do the Aveo, Focus, Fiesta and others at a competitive level, then someone in their Marketing and Forcasting departments needs to be fired --- yesterday. The Aveo is an outstanding value and comes in under $10k. Heck, some dealers were giving you an Aveo when you bought a truck or SUV last year! That seems cheap enough!
