Yea, and thats why you want them to STAY at your dealership and not go to the next one to go see one. Thats why car dealerships put them in the showrooms, or right out in front of the dealer.

The mark up will be over once they get a few in. They only produce about 15,000 Cobras and Lightnings every year (both total) and the Cobra mark up was gone after a month. GM will NOT have 18,000 buyers beating down the door for the GTO, especially if it costs as much as a Cobra.

 

At first, I'm sure they will sell for over MSRP in some parts of the country. Then, they'll sell for MSRP. Before long, they will be discounted to about invoice. By the 2nd year model, they will all sell for around invoice to a couple hundred over, depending on how good a negotiator you are.
