7-Series to get a facelift...Already

Guess Bangle's new styling for Bimmer is not hitting the target. Didn't this car just debut last year?

Yep - it's a really new model; but I'm confused...

How could they make the 7 series look... worse?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually don't think the 7 or the 5 are all that bad...

I have heard a lot of people have had a cold reaction to the i-Drive system.... that one-****-does-it-all thing seems to confuse many people....

Well its good to see people still care about the cars style over its brand and status. Obviously the BMW 7 series is a awsome machine and very worthy to those capable of buying it. Yet its refreshing to see those lucrative shoppers still have an eye for style and not blindly buying BMW's next new toy. The car is flat out ugly and unproportioned if this came from GM or Ford it would be getting an Aztek kinda endorsement. Yet its been shielded because of its split kidney bean grille and the badge is wears. I was annoyed at some magazines saying the car needed to be seen to appreciate or that somehow this car is beautiful and we the unpolished American public can't seem to see the genius in Bangal's design. Sorry the car is UGLY case closed! Good luck BMW trying to make that car look better it hit every branch and twig falling out of the ugly tree!

I think BMW actually learned from the 7 series with their new 5 series design. It looks pretty sharp.

Uncle owns a new one, and i love this car. The styling got some getting used to, but i love the looks now.

I didn't think they had trouble selling. These things are everywhere in my neck of the woods. I figured they sold well.

I like the bump in displacement to 4.8L and power to 400hp.

I don't think the 7 series needs a facelift as much as an *** lift. I'll have to agree with morb|d - the 5 series is a better implementation of the same theme.

I saw the 5 while in CA. Nice looking. I wish they'd made it look like the 7 though. That would help Caddy's resurgance.

I can't tell much from the picture, but the 7 series was/is definitely fugly. However, I don't think it holds a candle to the Z4 when it comes to puke-worthiness.

As much as I like BMWs past vehicles, the Z4 is hideous. The rear end of the 7 is kinda hard to accept, but the 5 series is a nice clean looking car. I also read a while ago that the front may be getting a redesign due to stricter European rules regaurding front end height. Aparently too many people were getting injured.

Good, it needed a facelift.
The current cars have a serious case of gotbeatwiththeuglystickitis.
