Re: 6th gen Passat.

looks good to me, I love the front end on it, but for some reason those tailights do not belong there...

The interior looks very sharpe aswell.

How much will a fully loaded one of these cost vs. the current generation?

Re: 6th gen Passat.

The Passat has grown in size with the sixth generation model to an overall length of 187.7 inches and a width of 71.7 inches.
I guess this 5 passenger sedan is too small and light to be a sporty Camaro. :SARCASM:

Re: 6th gen Passat.

This car and the new Jetta need to have their rear 3/4 completely redesigned. The rear overhang i shuge, and the taillights belong to a Corolla.

Maybe in person it will look different, but I am disgusted with Passat's and Jetta's rear ends.

I find that to be a very sharp car...especially when considering what the current one looks like.

If a 420 hp 12 cyl luxury sedan and an suv with a twin turbo V10 TDI with 550ft-lb of torque aren't anything to brag about I don't no what is

Me likey!

I wonder if they've addressed the old model's multi-continent age group conundrum? Here the passat is a youth car, where as in Germany it's considered an old person's car. Weird, but true.

i'm not really into suv's and combining them with performance, so i really couldnt care less on that one (that's just my opinion though, they might be great to a bunch of other people)

and is the phantom or phateon or whatever the luxury sedan?
i've never really known

The Phaeton with the W12 would be equivalent to a S600 or 760LI. It shares alot of parts including the engine (minus the turbos) with the Bentley Continental GT.

The Touareg and the Porsche Cayanne are built on the same platform.
It drives more like a sports sedan than an SUV. It's actually pretty fun to drive with the V10 TDI (550ft-lbs of tourqe can easily be brought up to 690ft-lbs by getting the computer reprogrammed).
