LOL, thanks guys, i know it's retro and all, but once I started it, I wanted to finish, and like how it turned out. So I thought I'd share it with you guys. I think it's a hell of a lot better looking than that..... that...... thing on GMinsider

I think the drawing is great... I'm just not a retro fan...

Maybe you can try to come up with a modern, evolutionary Camaro as well?

I like it. I like it alot.
It's simple. It's clean. The proportions look correct. Not a lot of gimmick, like we've seen in so many of these.

It says Camaro to me.

Although I'm not a big fan of retro, this concept does it for me.

Any chance you would be willing to draw it from a few different perspectives?

Hey, nice job! It would be cool if you could do a CGI version of the sketch and really finish it off.

I happen to like "retro" - whatever retro happens to mean. After 20 years of "modern" and "evolutionary", I think it's time to re-evaluate what the Camaro is and take it back to its roots.

If Camaro "goes back to it's roots" I think it's very possible to do that without having to go retro.

Nice drawing BTW.

Darth, sure, I have been trying to work on an evolution of the 4th gen front, with a side profile a little like the one posted, and a a few different touchs.

HuJass, I can do a few different perspectives, it may take a while to post cause I do not have a functional scanner, and it takes a while for me to get the drawing acceptible to my standards. The one posted is just an outline sketch to show shape and style.

Sounds great! I always look forward to seeing new sketches!

Great. I appreciate it. I'm interested in seeing the front and rear of this concept.
Don't worry about the time. I do a few sketches myself from time to time and I know they are time consuming.

Cool

Pretty cool man. Which 'thing' are you referring to? My design or the most recent one? Or the one's entered in that contest they had?

It just doesn't seem like GM will go with anything so blatantly retro. I would like to see more evolutionary efforts. The car doesn't have to necessarily "look" like any of the previous generations--just be identifiable as a Camaro.
