Yeah, leave it an option without being difficult to install and costing too much at least if there is single from the factory. Third and 4th guys have to deal with that and if the GTO has duals, the F-Body should.

But I was thinking, wasn't the 1st Gen Z28 chambered exhaust the ONLY REAL dual exhaust system that the F-Body ever had?? Didn't the others just have 2 pipes going into 1 muffler with dual outlets?!

Please let it have true duals. Let it be a muscle car.

Ford isn't "wasting" money by putting six catalytic converters on the Mustang, they're needed to pass emissions standards (the 4.6 seems to be a pretty dirty-burning motor). I often wonder how the Mustang makes any noise at all with 6 cats on it.

True dual. No contest. Looks better (more balanced) and sounds better.

This is getting to be my pat answer on all things 5th gen....LETS HAVE BOTH!! Single on the base engine, duals for the V8 and possible midrange blown V6/small V8. Even if it added cost to the V8 models, who here isn't willing to put on a catback...at a cost of ??.

True duals all the way, why put a detuned LS2 w/ 400 horses in if you're gonna go cheap on the exhaust and have the buyer drop $600 on a good catback on the way home from the dealership anyway?

True duals, with baffles to that open up and bypass the mufflers when you approach 3000 rpms near or at WOT...
