i've always liked this forum because after half the users left BON, this place became the best for finding insider info...I also like the fact that not just chevys and GM, but the car industry as a whole is discussed and analyzed here

One upon a time, I'd have to give kudos to thecarconnection for insider info & industry types hanging out on the forums.

However, once that site became over run with lowlifes, loosers, and flamers this site & Cheers & Gears IMHO are the best places to get industry info.

Pretty ironic huh? A Camaro Z28 site (a site without a current production car) being perhaps the best place to get info on future cars from not just GM, but Ford and Chrysler as well.

I agree. This forum has become greatness. I've let most of my car magazine subscriptions run out because of it. I get the info faster, more accurate, and for the most part, unbiased commentary.

I never go to the Lounge. If I feel the need for something off-topic I hang out at LS1.com's AAG or some of their other forums. Sometimes I fear this forum is becoming too Lounge-like with some of its off-topic posts, but as long as all the idiots from the Lounge don't come here, then it's pretty good.

I love it here too. I started coming here a few years ago to see what was going to happen to the camaro, and i've been hooked to this forum since. Like someone said, it's better than the car magazines.

I wonder why that is? If you go to the lounge, you can go back about 10+ pages, but in here you can only go 4 for threads within the last 10 days or so...wierd...

There are less threads here, but more posts in each thread. Thats how there are more posts but less pages.

I started here a few years ago after reading a then new to me magazine called GM High Tech Perfromance (We all know that one now). After that day, I come to this forum nearly 15 times a day and buy GMHTP every month. (I should get a subscription)

I enjoy this board more than the other message boards I participate in. It is useful for my job (GM Dealership), it is my hobby (for those who know me), and it is a good way to judge what people are thinking in our f-body world. I hope we can continue to bring up useful threads to further aid the developement of future f-bodies and to educate each other on the current marketplace, the future market, and to help share our opinions in a way that is professional and entertaining. To this board and it participating members I give:

I love this place, I come here at least 6 or 7 times a day, between classes and such. i really appreciate the intelligent topics and conversations, which are hard to find on other boards.

Not to mention, since the Lounge is "The Lounge", the topics and posts there are somewhat "disposable". Old threads get pruned away from the Lounge much more often than they do in this forum.

We will all have to put forth an effort to ensure that this forum continues to retain the quality and integrity that it has. "Our little secret" could easily turn south if we are not careful. Let's make sure we use the "report this post to a moderator" link as necessary and above all, set and mantain an example of what makes this forum as good as it is.

So far, so good. Thanks to all.
