I have decided to do a concept on a 5th gen that the board will decide on. I would like to have all comments and ideas from all of you here at Camaroz28.com. I will be making a non-retro and retro version because I know alot of you have your own personal opinion as to what it will look like. Also if there is a concept that you think is good but needs some touchup and correcting let me know and maybe I can help it to make it ur perfect 5th gen. I am doing this to find out what the demand is on the looks of the 5th gen Camaro. Thnx

 

I've done (but not posted) a lot of skecthes inspired by the second gen hood and front end. I'd like to see ya give that a shot.

Yes, we would all love to see "THE 5TH GEN" but unfortunantly at the moment that is not possible unless you have the ability to be a spy in GM lol. I have done a concept on the 3rd gen front but not the hood so much. Here is the link, it is like the 3rd gen but not to the exact point, like the grill position/shape and the headlights and the center grill. I added the ram air through the bottom and put a cowl induction hood. Plz post more suggestions, and I will be coming up with more conceptz based on yall's wants.

IMO the next camaro should be "New" but "remembered" at the same time

 

should be all new, with a small hint here or there of past Fbodies

IMHO, the 5th gen should be low and aggressive as hell. That blue concept someone posed not too long ago seems perfect.

 

Well my concept is low but I don't think it's perfect, it's close to what I want but the front needs a little help, the sides are alright but needs some more proportioning and my rear is really good, it's not the one posted here. But also I believe the Camaro should be both and not full retro. As said if we wanted a 30yr old car wed buy one. Yeah, that's what I'm talkin about! I'd have shaped the top section (windshield, hatchback glass, etc.) like the 3rd gen however. On the whole, though, it kicks pony @$$!

why not be different and make it with 3rd-gen styling cues?

A lot of the sketches I like have thirdgen cues in the nose. I really like how some have fused the HID type lights with the low, angular nose of the thirdgen. The two posted above, along with 90 Z28SS's stuff (my favorite) are just where I want to see a 5th gen.

Not tryin to be a thirdgen fanboy or anything, but the cars I like now (CTSv - favorite) have good angles to them but manage to look forward-thinking.
