Mopar:

Dodge Challenger
Chrysler Large SUV (New Yorker?)

FoMoCo:
Ford Crown Victoria
Ford SVT Mustang (Cobra)
Shelby F150
Mercury Grand Marquis
Lincoln Town Car

GM
Chevy Corvette Indy Pace Car
Chevy Trailblazer SS
Pontiac Soltice GXP
Saturn Aura Coupe (Opel Astra OPC)
Buick LaCrosse Grand National
Cadillac XLR V-Series

Friday March 25 is sneak preview day, I'll see you there!

Just a guess as to what Buick's going to bring to the show, but I admit it's probably way off base with the new direction for Buick, maybe a Grand Sport (GS) might be more appropriate!

Why?

I think they should put a turbo in them, not a supercharger.

I think they should turbo the thing too, but I also think that they already have the blown ecotec, and are probably gonna use that rather than certify a new engine. I would LOVE for them to prove me wrong though, and come out with a turbo ecotec Solstice.

Oh, man!! Somehow I forgot completely!! If it's at all possible (and it is) I'll be there for sure! I missed it last year...

What time is the best time to be there to avoid the crowds?? I always get to a show early and find it's packed. Evening perhaps?

They have to certify the new engine for that platform no matter what so they could go either way. Concept had a Turbo.

GM has both a Turbo (saab 9-3) and S/C version (Cobalt SS) of the 2.0L Ecotec, it would be just as easy to use either one. What I hope for more is the FI displacement to be 2.4L instead of the 2.0L

True, but I would imagine that they would be able to skip a whole slew of internal (I mean within GM, not within the crankcase) reliability and NVH testing and certification.

True, but that doesn't mean S/C. Saab 9-3 has a Turbo version of that same 2.0L

The Aura is NOT based on the Astra, but based on the Vectra.
How truthful are your predictions? Are they just ideas thrown out off the top of your head, or do they actualy have some basis?

It has been stated many times which FI will be used, you just have to pay attention. Let's just say the GN fans will be pleased...
