Official unveil is October 7th. GM has released a few teaser photos including the dash design which looks magnificent.

 

Except for the column shifter. I prefer anything other than taking up space with a console shifter, but they could have made it fancier or went with push buttons or something.

 

Interior looks great, I'm glad to see Cadillac get something so dramatically different.

 

Column shifter... ? The rest looks great though.

 

I wish more vehicles had column shifters! When are they ever really in the way? Especially compared to taking up a huge chunk of real estate in the center console killing any chance of 3 people sitting up front. Bring back column shifts and the bench seat! In small vehicles (like the cruze) where there is not a chance in hell of a person sitting in the middle up front, yeah, go ahead, put a shifter there, but in full size vehicles, put the seat back!

They should have differentiated the sides more from the Tahoe/Yukon. Thos tail lamps take the Caddy vertical lamp to a whole new level.
