Haha, that was a good commercial. I think the car looks great overall. However, I have one question. Why can't Ford lose the truck style side mirrors on the Mustang? They have had them for a few generations now. They look huge and out of place. Other than that, it is a damn sexy car. I would surely drive one!

Still not sure about the GT500 grille on the GT.

In the commercial it looks ok in some forms.

I seriously think this refresh puts it very close to the Camaro in the looks department. I wonder how this will effect sales?

 

I spec'd a 2013 Mustang V6 Premium, 6-speed manual, Pony package and 3.31 gear and the MSRP is $110 less than the 2012 ($28,385 vs $28,495). The 18-inch polished aluminum wheels that come with the Pony package really make the difference (especially on a black car). I drove a 2012 V6 Premium manual car a few weeks ago and really liked it. I may take a serious look a year from now (after the wife's Taurus is paid off).

 

New cars are so expensive these days. 2003 Cobras were $35k brand new, and now the new GT500 is more like $50k.
