It's a pretty attractive-looking car. Seven seats in a sedan is interesting. I wonder if the two rear-facing seats in the back are adult-sized, or if they're little mini-seats like in the old Taurus/Sable wagons.

I'll be interested to see if they can make it to market with this.

Rear-facing seats are child-size. Small child. Like, really small.

I doubt we'll ever see it hit the streets. Tesla's efforts so far have not been exactly stellar, and they at this point are seriously out of cash. Its a problem when you make people pay a super premium for a car that you cant deliver... People loose faith. Atleast the Camaro has "bang for the buck" written all over it!

If I were a betting man I'd put more money on GM bringing out a RWD Impala before this thing hits the streets.

Top Gear just did one of the Tesla cars. It was supposed to go for 200 miles or something, it only made it like 50 miles or so.

Top gear was putting it all out on a race track... that uses a lot more energy than your 40mph cruze.

$50,000 isn't that much when you think about it thats like BMW 5 series, Caddy STS, and Mercedes E class range, I think its money well worth it... if it comes out.

If you drove a 25mpg LS3 Camaro like they drove that Tesla you would only get about 8mpg. Also it came out later that the Tesla didn't run out of juice, they just said it did so they could push it back. Makes better TV I guess.

It's a good looking car, but I won't hold my breath considering the news from Tesla the last several months. I'm interested to see where those last two seats are, though. There weren't any decent interior pictures on that link.
