Seriously get a clue dude. They aren't shipipng the parts over here. The only thing done is the basic design. The whole thing is retooled mostly from scratch.

I have not seen pics...but the Cruze looks a bit bigger than the Cobalt...almost the size of a late 90's Accord?

We're talking about an economy car, not a Michaelangelo painting.
That was the attitude that Ford took with launching the original Focus here, and we all know how that turned out.

Believe it or not, there are often a lot of differences in the "same" car manufactured in two different places for two different parts of the world.

It's marginally wider, taller, and has a longer wheelbase but is 2" shorter overall than Cobalt.

Cruze:

Length: 178.5
Height: 58.2
Width: 70.7
Wheelbase: 105.7

Cobalt:

Length: 180.5
Height: 55.5
Width: 67.9
Wheelbase: 103.3
