2010 Mustang V8 only 315 HP
Having just seen the 2010 Mustang GT at the LA Show I can say it's a much nicer car with better options than the S197. This one addressed many of the weak points from the last gen. My only complaints are some styling points. But it's worth the wait until 2011 for the 5.0L as while the current 315hp is good but 400hp is better and will put the car on the pace set by Camaro SS and Challenger SRT8 by then.

So what are the chances of this engine going into the Mustang soon?
Maybe use it as the base engine, with the 5.0 as the GT engine.
Or keep the current V6 for the base engine, the ecoboost for the GT and the 5.0 for say, a Mach1 or somthing similar.
