2010 Mazda 3

MORE HERE

My .02.... GREAT looking exterior, pretty decent looking interior. The current 3 needs about a 10% boost in fuel economy to even be on par with the rest of the class and about a 10% boost over THAT number to become class leading. Mazda chassis are always amazingly well balanced between fun and comfort. I've yet to be impressed by Mazda long term reliability or durability of their interiors, though. Not bad, just not good as some of the others.

Looks great... I hope the US gets that 1.4L engine. The 2.0L in the Focus already does pretty good. Mate it with a 6 speed and they should be able to get a few more mpg.

I get an "almost CTS-like" feeling from it but in a good way. Huge upgrade over the previous exterior.

It's just an illustration based on this pic of the new 6:

I'm thinking that the engine lineup here will also include the new 2.5L 171HP found in the new Mazda6. That will be Mazda3 GT model, or its equivalent.

Is the current 2.0L shared with Ford, or is this Mazda's powerplant?

Where did you see interior pics? When I click the link I can only see the one picture. Looks good though, I'm a fan of a lot of the styling Mazda uses on their products.

Another vote for 'looks great.'

And yes, it looks quite happy.

Well crap now I can't find the interior pics. At first I thought they were in that link but then I realized they were posted on another forum I frequent... but I don't see them now. Oh well, if what Chris is saying is right they were probably just speculation or CGI anyhow. We'll see soon enough.
