I was told by the Cummins rep at a job fair about a month ago that they were developing a V6 for the 1500 Rams and Durango, I guess that has changed???

 

My mom works for Cummins at the JEP. I could ask, but if it's something that's supposed to be "hush hush" she won't tell me.

 

I'm surprised at the hatred of the current design...apparently its a love it or hate it look currently, as I've seen other posters on here say that they thought it was still the best looking fullsize despite being the oldest. My opinion? The interior is way too plasticky (even before GM upped the ante on this, Ford crushed Dodge anyway inside), but if I had a choice? I'd actually buy the Dodge...what's happened to me???

The new GM trucks are great vehicles...but they completely leave me cold in the looks department. But those Dodges...especially a Laramie with the additional chrome trim, and chrome 20s? Yum I was spec'ing out the other night a 4x2 Hemi reg cab SLT...thinking about buying one as an around the house / fun cruiser pickup. A $34k, loaded SLT with leather came down to about $22,500, the way I could buy it Between the $6,000 in rebates currently, plus invoice minus $750, these things are getting cheap for me!

Every time I see a new Chevy, I wonder why they kept it so bland...otherwise, without a doubt its the best truck right now...
