2009-2010 Dodge Journey?

Doing some car shopping came across the Dodge Journey.

Haven't really heard much about it. Saw it was based off the Dodge Avenger/Chrysler Sebring.

Seems kind of like a smaller version of a Traverse/Oulook/Acadia. Has 3rd row seating as an option(listed as a 5+2) The thing is though, its costs craploads less. Seeing v6 ones for like $23k. Thats kind not even really the starting point of the Equinox and the Escape. 1 yr used v6s in the high teens.

Flaws I have seen is the 4banger is underpowered, v6, is ok but nothing special. Has lots of bells/whistles. Bluetooth, rear ac controls, even has a drink cooler in the dash.

Granted the Traverse/Acadia are better but then again like $10k+ more.

rated 18/24 not the best but no the worst especially for the size.

Doesn't look too bad for what it is.

My buddy works for them and has one. It is decent. I couldn't find anything major wrong with it, and I was looking!

I hate Chrysler's interiors and that falls right in line with the hate.

Interior is pretty weak even for Mopar cars. Aside from that, I'm not too onboard with any of the Avenger/Sebring cars. Is 3rd row seating a must? Look at WK Jeep GC's.

It doesn't ride quite as well as GM's crossovers and has a fairly dated powertrain but if you're looking for practicality for the best bang for the buck, they fit the bill considering what they are selling for.
