Except for the tail lights and slight sharper looking lines, it looks like the drawings of the G37 coupe.
Any prices??
Styling..
But well executed, kinda Volvo like feeling about it.

It's a good looking car but I am starting to have a REALLY hard time telling apart any of the Nissan/Infiniti coupes and I think that's a bad thing because that means if I can't tell them apart then 99% of the people on the street won't be able to either from a distance (when they can't read the badges).

I agree, its a nice looking car, but it just bears too much of a resemblance to the other Nissan/Infiniti counterparts.

Yeah...the're essentially the same cars; take away about 85% of the parts from the Altima and you can hardly tell the difference at all.

Isn't the Altima on FM like the Maxima and Murano?

I like it. Its styling bears alot of resemblance to the G6 coupe, albeit with some sharper edges. I do agree with the Nissan/Infiniti thing, their cars and suv's need to grow apart some in styling but the altima is one car i think nissan has nailed down for awhile now and a coupe makes it that much better.

Wonder why we didn't see a pre-production G37 first??

The only way I can is the Altima has the classic Nissan-blocky-edgey look on the grill/trunk, while the Infiniti smooths all the edges out, looks classier.

I like it, I think that even though it clearly resembles it's siblings, that will be a good thing once the Skyline comes to town...this car will give the boy racer's a taste of it's DNA without the pricetag. This could very well be the next Civic/Eclipse that both rose so high in popularity back in the early 90's. It has all the right ingredients, style, power, a coupe, and it resembles the import holy grail...the new Skyline.

The Altima is now on the new "D" platform while the Maxima, Quest and Murano is on the FF-L, which is the last gen altima platform. The FM is for the G35s, FXs, Ms, and 350Z.

Didn't a lot of people brag about FM when it debuted because it was not only RWD but FWD capable? Do I have my wires crossed?
