Not a negative comment - because I actually like the design - but a question to ponder...
Remember a few years back when 20/20 or Dateline or somebody did a bunch of specials on the cost to repair a 5mph frontal collision with a parking pole? Something like $500 or less to repair it is "acceptable"?
What in the world would it cost if this car were to hit a parking pole at 5mph? The grill HAS to be gone, radiator and a/c condenser, valance, hood even? Fog lamps if on the side?
I just don't see how carmakers can put out vehicles with essentially no front bumper. Chryslers are ALL going that way... 300, Sebring, Neon, Nitro... all of them.
I just can't help but think that the insurance on cars like this isn't going to be a smidge higher than for a car with a true, rigid front bumper.
