there must be different versions of those seats.. or maybe different pictures..

I've seen seats similar to this one IRL and I thought they looked and felt really nice.. IMO, they look much better than the pics of the new ones..

Thats really too bad, because they were nice, especially the blue insert ones.. I remember looking around a bit to see if perhaps I could put them in my Camaro..

Recaros only came in black. The normal leather seats had black/blue/red insterts. The ones pictured are the red inserts. Mine has the blue inserts. I like the way the look. Not as good as the recaros. Took the car to Fl last year and after 18 hours in the car I felt fine.

Actually, thats what I read.. but I remember they were blue..

Perhaps I saw a "not quite production" version that had the "redline" blue seats instead. I distinctly remember them not being solid leather but more like that mesh pattern.

Chuck - The tag on the side bolster is most likely for the Ultralux( alcantara ) microsuede .

Ken S ....you had to have seen the 04-05 Redline seats then . Ive used to have the Redline seats in my SS , then switched to the current SS Recaro's I currently have . The new seats look at least as bolstered as the Recaro's . Plus , I would take the link cloth / Alcantara microsuede over the old leather/mesh cloth anyday . The 2008 seats will be grippy as hell
