It would be nice if it got the front nose off of the Cobalt Widebody concept.

The next question should be...

Where will these be priced?

Low $20's like the supercharged SS?

Im gonna guess $22-23K as a base . The 2007's were at point based @ 20,995 then padded back up to $214xx . GM's been pretty good lately about including much more and not really jackin up the price . The MS3 is based under $23K and thats with a LSD standard , with the Cobalt its a $750 option . The MS3 also has most of the same technical features standard . GM would be slitting their throats to go higher .

Er... well... looks like they've got some cool products out, but we'll wait until GM starts making more profit than Toyota before I'd go that far...

that no-lift shift sounds like a euphemism for torque managment? You do the same thing in a Mustang to get a better time, just mash the gas, and keep the loud pedal planted while the computer does the rest. The handling is bad-***, nearly as good or as good as the mitsu-x even with all the gizmos it has.

It looks like its going to be an awesome car, but its not going to stand a chance against the new Evo handling wise. Theres only so much you can do with FWD.

Yeah the Lancer Evo IX ran Nurburgring in 8:11 - 11 seconds quicker than this Cobalt.

Wow, hadn't heard about the Evo-X time (not that I care enough to look for it to be honest - not a fan of AWD cars at all)
