I think that grill is a lot less obnoxious on the STS, but the lower fascia still doesen't seem quite right. Too tall and too narrow, looks like a beaver.

If the headlights, and maybe the fogs, followed the contour of the grill a bit better that might make me like the look more.

I just hope GM doesn't over-use the fender vent, as nice as it is. Seems like it's on a lot of its new and upcoming cars.

The new caddy grill treatment just isnt meshing with the STS imo. This car needs major overhaul in the styling dept. or put out to pasture . Almost all of the higher end Bimmers and Merc's make this car look , once again .....like a old persons car . And once the new "close enuff" sized contemporary CTS comes out ...who will want this car ?

That's a big improvement. The STS's application of art & science never seemed quite right, perhaps dumbed down and rounded off a bit too much. This new front end brings back some boldness and edge and it works a lot better.

I'd rather take the old person's car then over that crap that BMW and Mercedes put out then. I think the last generation of Caddys stole the show in terms of looks. JMHO though.

I'm growing to like both the new CTS and STS after seeing some more photos of them. This front grille looks a lot better if you ask me though (compared to the CTS). Seems like the CTS tried to follow the new Audi theme and integrate the two and it just came out wrong.

The STS has never struck a chord with me the way the CTS has. It was designed as a toned down CTS, and to me it came out looking like a boring CTS.

This one is far better. I like it.

BTW: GM did the restyling on this STS in an extremely short amount of time. Although there probally wasn't too much to it, it's still impressive. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but word is less than 12 months from idea to metal.

I find it interesting that so many people find the CTS better than the STS. To me, it seemed like the STS was what the CTS could've been. Not so many awkward lines (look at the profile on the rear fender), an overall better balance in proportion, and overall better composition. It seemed to "flow better" IMO. Interesting though.

I like the grille, but the head lights and in particular the lower fog lights/running lights just need a tweak. They don't seem integrated well into the rest of the front-end.

Meld them into the front moreso and give it's interior the same attention the new CTS got and I would have to change my opinion of the STS.

I have always liked the "idea" of the car (size and market position), but it has always seemed to me like it was poorly executed- really have always hated the jumbled, lousey planned interior. Sorry if I "tweaked" a few Caddy owners, but JMHO.

They need the interior from the Chinese STS and then I'll start to be impressed. For now it looks like dog poo on the inside, and a car in that class is often judged heavily by its interior...

I'm not too partial of the grill, or the lighting.

Am I the only person that doesn't need an automotive logo to be the size of two clenched fists put side by side?
