looks like it's got a little bit of nissan murano in the rear-most pillar (C-pillar maybe? i'm not good with the naming of them)

Overall it looks OK, but I think Subaru needs to rethink that new grill theme before they put it on anything else. It doesn't look that good IMO.

EEKK... I'm blind.. they ruined the WRX.. I thought the mild freshening of the front end made it look very handsome but they just beat it with a "fugly" stick and still haven't stopped.
I'm also guessing since there are some game pics that this design is sealed... YUCK... please Bob talk some sense into the Subaru bigwigs...
Re: 2006 Sube B9X
Barring the looks debate for a second...
Why the hell would somebody buy this over, say, an Acura MDX? One thing to sell in the niche the Legacy/Impreza realm and the Forester is just a rebodied Impreza that handles better than the competition, offers wagon body styles, high performance models and AWD.
Step up to the midsize crossover SUV class, and suddenly there is competition everywhere. Built on a modified chassis. Doesn't have enough power to compete on the performance side of things. Ugh. Silly Subaru. Should have gone the classy large Forester route taking cues from the 2005 Legacy.
