Ok, so it's got a new front bumper. The 5.3 is nice though.

Edit: It looks kinda like an overgrown Cobalt. The new Malibu/Vette/Cobalt/Monte/Imp... I don't like where Chevy is going as far as headlight design. It's ugly IMO.

They should not have made the frontends that similar. :(

Since the Monte will only be around about 2 years it was a cost saving decision. I would imagine this will someday be a collectors item.

Maybe for Monte Carlo collectors :D Maybe in 30 years,Barrett Jackson will give you a free '06 Monte for any purchase over 10K.
Seriously,it is a nice looking car,and the Impala is a major improvement.

I think alot of people are under the mistaken impression that a Monte Carlo replacement is poised for release.

It's not. The current MC may be around longer than you think.

I think you and Guy need to compare notes he has said many times the current(06) monte will live a very short life.

BTW can I get a CC on your conversation with him? :D

looks like a bloated cobalt, i think it is ugly but about as exciting as chevy gets nowadays unless you have 40-60 thousand
