I concur.

I think the styling is ok. I think they adapted the A&S theme to the front and rear well but the side profile still contains that "frumpy" look, IMO.

Re: 2006 Cadillac DTS Rental

I think the new DTS is a big improvement over the previous model - much more modern. I wouldn't normally consider one but they have a heck of a nice lease deal on 'em at the moment. And I think GM card bucks can be used for leases as well, just like a down payment. Maybe I'll have to check one out after the Audi goes in. I appreciate cars like that (soft riding, semi-sporty) but wonder if I'd look way too young to be behind the steering wheel?

I thought you had to be atleast 50 and couldn't do the speed limit. But maybe they've changed the rules since I last checked..

Re: 2006 Cadillac DTS Rental

For a good part of my career, I drove Camaros and Corvettes.

Once the Camaro went on Hiatus, I started getting various Divisional Company cars.

I was delighted when I received a DTS two years ago......

Fast, quiet, smooth, very spacious for friends in the back seat.......

........and the best part? It was the first car I could take an exit ramp at Camaro/Corvette speeds without rolling it!

-- not to mention heated/cooled seats and a great massage mode on the driver's seat that was great on long trips.

I'm currently driving an STS.........great car ....RWD.......but if I had the choice? DTS! (this from a dyed in the wool RWD guy)

Now.......if we could just get people to actually get behind the wheel........
