Looks very nice. I was hoping it would be the c6 though. I know it's a 2005 year model, and production hasn't yet started, but i was hoping they'd have one specially built for this event. No biggy though.

am I missing something here? I thought the Impala SS was going to be the indy 500 pace car. heck the dealership near me even has the indy edition SS. Not they I mind that the vette is the pace car, but i just found it odd that a couple months ago it was the Impala. perhaps an uproar from fans made GM change the car???
A little trivia: Corvette was initially planned to be the 1993 Indy pacecar, not Camaro.
The C5 was initially planned to be introduced for 1993, but was delayed 5 years. Divisions are assigned pacecar slots in advance, and Chevy chose to showcase their new Camaro (initially planned for 1992 introduction) instead.
