That pick has been around awhile... I still find it to be quite boring.

That pic has been posted here a few times before. My take then and now is I like the stance and the rear quarter panels. The front in has to go.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think that concept looks pretty badass. I like the chevy truck cues on the grill and the long hood/short deck look. If they offer that car with 350+HP at around $30,000, I'd buy it.
If the next Camaro looks anything like that old R&T photoshopped POS, I wouldn't consider it even for $3,000.

No one built it. In the article it says it's a computer rendering based on themes that were being discussed. It was in no way a complete model actually being contimplated. Thank heaven.

Count me in as one of very few who insist that's a photo of a real car I don't care what the little story next to it says. No other concept car computer model we've ever seen has ever had that amount of natural features, primarily the light reflections and extreme detail. I would not be surprised *at all* to see this car (with an appropriate front end, please!) emerge as the real 5th gen from the current secrecy at Great Mystery a.k.a. GM.

It's very easy in many design programs to add light refections and such.... you simply tell the computer what angle you want the light source to originate from and even what level of intesity and such....

Programs such as Macromedia Fireworks can do this move with literally only a few clicks of the mouse...

Kidding or insane... take your pick. A very old artist rendering of what the "next generation" Camaro "could" look like based on neo-retro styling and Chevy's new "cross-bar" theme, circa 2000-2001.

FWIW, I like the cross-bar theme on the Chevy truck line, especially on the SSR. However, for God's sake Chevy guys... lose that on any "perfomance" cars you have planned!

If the Next Vette and Chevelle SS have it... I ain't buying!
