This is very, very interesting. I don't think they are preorders, as you can't preorder a vehicle that hasn't been officially announced.

GM considers a car delivered to the dealership as "sold" and books them. This would mean that two vehicles would have had to have been shown as delivered to the dealers for GM to include them in the release.

Could just be a screw up, which is my assumption.

Does GM count movement of a vehicle from one internal department to another as sales?
Like from the development department to the powertrain department?

I thought they did.

I think currently the Terrain is a package on the Sierra, Maybe they are counting that to see?

It is a rare package!

No, it would just be a package on the Sierra. Not an entirely new vehicle.

Something was delivered to two dealers (or one) named the GMC Terrain. That's a given.

How about 2 Terrains being delivered from prototype to the show division?
Scott could chime in on this.

I wonder if these are the mid east version based on the Vue?

I believe it's "All Terrain" that is the package on the Sierra. A co-worker just bought a brand new Sierra with All Terrain badges on it. It has some different wheels and that's about all I noticed...I'm not up on truck stuff though.
