'11 Dodge Charger spied

Hey look....signs of life!

http://www.leftlanenews.com/dodge-charger-2011.html

Though I guess it's probably the R/T model, not SRT like the article says.

Ugh, when are they going to ditch the "Cross-Hairs" grille on their cars.

I thought the 6.2 was the replacement to the 6.1 but now we are at 6.4. Tell me more.

Still looks like a Dodge Ram car to me. That grill has got to go.

I agree. I was hoping the Challengers retro grille would make it on the new Charger. Both the Crosshair and retro one are instantly Dodge. Hey..I can still hope the cross hair is fake under the camo..right?

Wow, no wonder Chrysler is hurting. How much money have they spent revamping their lineup, only to have the new models look almost exactly like the old ones? They need to start stepping out of the box like when the original Charger and 300 came out. They are not going to draw in new buyers unless their vehicles get some new looks.

The rear end looks very mustangish.

The profile looks a lot like the one I'm driving but I like it.

Interesting that the R/T will be moving to a turbo V6. Wonder what kind of power/torque it will make. Personally I think a car of this size and weight needs the torque offered by a V8 just to feel like it's adequately powered.

The trunk lid looks a little small. Small opening?

I like it. Will it take a hint from Caddy and come with a pedal for my left foot?

A properly set up Turbo 6 will make more torque over the entire powerband than a NA V8 will. Don't see that being an issue but would like more info on this 6.4 engine. I may have found my next car if they would put a stick in it.
