08(09?) Cobalt SS with the LNF confirmed .

For some reason , parts for the yet to even be announced SS are coming up now in GM dealer parts computers little by little . Guess that confirms that one .

LNF with the same F35(MU3) 5 speed .

The only question to this, will it go the way of SRT-4? Will the owners be so happy at a turbo, that they instantly become "drift-pros" and ricers?

Will this be priced about the same as the current supercharged Cobalt?

If you want to make power than turbo is the way to go. If I wanted to drift, I personally would rather have a NA or roots car, fwiw

Its the lower portion of the block . The hole its pointing at is where the starter bolts up , but its reffering to the lower engine block .

Turbos can make more power down low than NA - just look at the dyno plot for the LNF.

FWIW, I'd worry more about which wheels are being driven if drifting were my thing

I was thinking the same thing. Has drifting in reverse caught on yet?

I agree turbos make power. But I think you would find the NA motor or roots car would be easier to drift because the power delivery would be more predictable and linear.

In Formula D the cars are required to be RWD anyway... I was referring to the comment that ricers and drifters would automatically be attracted to the turbo Cobalt, which was stated in a way that implied that turbos were in effect 'guilty by association'.

Yea. Why haven't Solstice taken GTO's place in drifting?
