I like the pony.

I don't like the GT's 18" wheels.

Wow, what a way to take away identification from the GT model. Just like the previous model year. I hated when Ford did that, and I don't particularly like it now either.

I applaud them for the 18" wheels, if they weren't wrapped in crappy rubber, and sized 235 for Christ sake.

That's (the Pony package) is one way to keep sales up.

Maybe it's too late for me to be up, but I don't see what's new or special about the 'Pony Package' outside of the quaint chrome trim on the grill that further cements it's status as an un-original, cop-out, retro design.

Okay, a NICE set of wheels REALLY makes a difference on those cars... But, why is it Ford can't make a wheel that looks good? The bullits are nice, but a bit dated IMHO. Those 18's look like crap on that car.

This new Mustang only appeals to young people...
see here

I find bits like this incredibly satisfying for some reason.
I have seen as many with grey hair driving these as 30-somethings.
Just shows that Ford has the demigraphics well-satisfied with this car.
It also says that people of all ages are potential pony car buyers too, if the package is a good one.

BTW, You will still be able to tell GT from V6 Pony - fog lights are different size, grill opening below bumper is WAY different, and from behind you won't have cut-outs in bumper cover for duals and two 3" pipes sticking out. From the side look for the fender badges, headrests in the window, wheel size, and stance (especially ride height).

Overall, I like it. I actually prefer the style of those fog lights to the GT's. It's like the Y87 Camaro option with styling enhancements. Does it also come with dual exhaust? Or at least dual exaust tips?
