'05 Mustang GT engine "beauty cover"?

'05 Mustang GT engine "beauty cover"?

What happened to it? I remember seeing early pictures of the GT engine and it looked great, but now that it's for sale they apparantly dropped the nice looking cover.

With that cover in place it looks very LT1ish. Also that throttle body looks very familiar

its looks nice but maybe it can pic up 1hp by cooling the intake?

Old one looks liek an TPI/LT1
New one looks like a LS1

Personally I could care less if my engine has a beaty cover.

Personally I like seeing the runners more but that first pic does look pretty good for an engine cover. I really hate those big flat plastic ones that just cover everything.

ford ditched it (i guess to save a few pennies)...look for it on a special-edition model
