Z28 front end alignment specs
Z28 front end alignment specs
I need the specs for a front end alignment. I need the autocross specs soon as I'm at work. Just want a compromise as this car is street driven. Please help. Thanks
hey Warner,
What shop do you goto?
Anyways, I just asked for max neg camber, then max pos caster and 0 toe, even up front..
The most they could get me (stock height and stuff) was -0.5 camber, +4.6 cast with 0 toe... I've heard of some people/shops getting up to -1.0 camber with some coercing..

Most people go for something like:
-1.5% camber (or as much as you can get, dont have to match 100%, so dont loose camber if one only goes to 1.1%, leave the other at 1.5% is if can do it)
+4.5 Caster
0.0% toe (for autocross its ideal for slightly toe OUT for turning, but this is less stable at speed. I think neutral is the best)
I have aftermarket A-Arms so my setup is weird. I run:
-1.3-1.5% camber
7.5% caster
0.0 toe
People cant believe that a large heavy car turns like a small car. I had a friend who races (and wins) at nationals in a Mini-Cooper S and he couldn't believe how quickly it turns. But he hated how much the wheels move for how little your turn the wheel, which I love.
Hope this helps!

Thanks much for the responses. Ken I use A n T tire. They are always at the track supporting the races and their price is as good as you usually will get anyway. Plus when they do your tires balancing they are perfect. Something I've heard other places don't usually do. A friend in a vette took it back to a place that did his balancing and they told him he shouldn't be going so fast and wouldn't fix them as they were bad above 90.
