wide wheels, +45 offset and the slp pkg, opinions please..
i just wanted to ask you guys of your opinion before i spent the money..
ok, starting off, i have a 97 convertible camaro with eibach sportlines on it.. stock shocks(that are shot) and the rest of the suspension is bone stock..
gonna raise it up some so that i have clearance for the long tube headers i am putting in and would like to know if you guys think what i have put together sounds good...
i have 18x10 enkei v1's with a +45mm offset waiting to go on.. which comes out to a 6.77" backspacing i believe.. gonna throw 285/35 18's on the the 4 corners(maybe 275/35's) ... looking at the slp level one suspension package.. and going to do an ls1 brake conversion later..
my main concern is about the wheels and the suspension kit.. i know the wheels will be pushed out slightly farther than normal and from what i have read about the slp kit, it should lower my car about .75 inches from stock.. am i gonna have clearance issues with the tires and the fenders?
i am looking to pick up the slp package before march 15th(new era has them on sale till then) and figured i'd ask you guys before i put down the moolah. i just won an auction for some kyb agx shocks before i saw the sale and was gonna throw some stock springs on my car with em.. but i think the slp package is the way to go..
lemme know what you guys think, i have searched on it, but my main concern is with the slp supension with the wheel/tire combo.. your opinions on the whole thing would be just icing on the cake..
thanks,
josh
